What a scene this was. I almost always stop at the Sam Houston Statue, outside of Huntsville, TX. I was treated to a beautiful storm  last summer going up behind the 67-foot-tall statue. The statue looks like he is doing the "smooth criminal" 🙂 #clouds365  #monuments  #storms

I spent a lot of time in Huntsville. My grandmother was the director of the Sam Houston Museum from the 1950s to the 1970s. My grandfather taught at the college. My mother still lives there.
