My wife woke me up and told me the sky was glowing and I needed to get it! Wow, was she right. Walked out and was overwhelmed my the vibrance and the color of the sky. Have not had a sunrise like this in North Texas in a while. Amazing!

The stratocumulus clouds had a circular pattern to them this morning in Frisco, TX and they were lined up in a row (undulatus). This is a 12 image stitched panoramic shot to show how cool the sky looked.Â

The sun did not break through, but the low clouds were still painted with light and color. Crazy looking. My best guess of the blue color is rain. I was sprinkled on waiting on the sun, then the sky glowed. #clouds365  #twotoned #sunrise  #dailyphotography Â

It was a special morning in Frisco, Texas. I set up at one of my favorite spots to capture the sunrise. The cirrus clouds in the distance were already started to glow, 45 minutes before the sun hit the horizon. As you can see in the first 2 shots below, the color was spectacular. I noticed fog starting to come in, just in time for the sun to come up! I had one camera set up taking wide shots that I ended up putting together for a time lapse video above.
