DAY FIVE of the Tempest Tours, Clouds 365 Project Storm Chasing Expedition

Left Strausburg, Colorado this morning and headed to NW Nebraska to chase storms. Traveling on HWY 29 North of Scottsbluff, we came to this lone tree on the highway. Left Ogallala, NE this morning with the target of Eastern CO and NW Kansas. This was the 3rd storm of the day, captured North of Goodland, Kansas. Loved the contrast with the fields and the wild look of the incoming shelf cloud. Amazing day! #clouds365   #stormchasing   #kansas   #supercell

One of my favorite lightning shots here

Taken outside of Throckmorton, Texas on the 23rd of April of this year. This is one single shot. I knew the lightning was striking near the center of this road. I exposed for the passing car, getting the red tail lights, then the flash happened. I was amazed when I looked at the image captured!
