My chase partners James, Zachary and I decided to chase storms south of Oklahoma City for many reasons. Ended up on the western edge of the complex north of Chickasha, OK. It was beautiful, but I was also saddened that it moved into the city. My thoughts are with all that were effected. #stormchasing  #clouds365  #oklahoma Â

It is a amazing sight to watch a supercell form and produce a funnel cloud right in front of you. That is what I witnessed today in Sterling, Oklahoma this afternoon. Can't officially call it a tornado, because I can not confirm it hit the ground, but the rotation was fast and tight. We were hit with RFD and had to move quickly. Incredible day! #stormchasing #clouds365 #supercell #oklahoma Â

Ended the day in Blackwell, Oklahoma to photograph a supercell moving away at sunset. The scene was so beautiful, I did a panorama to try to get it all in. This was one of those wow moments! This image was the first shot I captured after setting up the camera. I opened the shutter, then there was a incredible flash and boom! The structure on this storm was just getting its act together. Love how the heavy rain and hail are isolated in one small area. We chased this storm for another hour, it had incredible striations #stormchasing  #oklahoma  #supercell  #hail  #clouds365 Â
