I love Zion. It is one of my favorite places in the world. Every year it seems I come back to this famous overlook in Zion National Park to get a shot of the Watchman of Zion at sunset. I don’t do many landscape shots, but it is always fun to do them at iconic places like this (more…)
Mono Lake Tufa State Natural Reserve is a amazing place to visit. Not far from Yosemite and the Sierra Mountains in Eastern California. It is a photographers paradise. I have been visiting images from our trip there a year ago and discovered this one. I used a small opening in one of the tufa towers to block out the sun just a bit to create this sunstar. The blades on my Canon 16-35 make a nice pattern. Hope you enjoy!
