This storm got my attention

Sometimes while storm chasing, you have to drive closer to a storm than you want. Ping pong to gold ball size hail was already starting to fall as we were trying to get away from it, you can see it in the teal color in the clouds. Powerful! Taken in Paducah, TX earlier this month.

This is a gustnado

The largest one I have seen that is for sure. There was heavy outflow from this storm picking up the red dust and rotating hard. Gustnados are not attached to a storm base, so it is somewhat easier to distinguish apart from a tornado. We had to drive past this before it crossed the road, very nerve-racking. Captured East of Paducah, TX earlier this month. #stormchasing Â #gustnado Â #clouds365 Â #highwinds Â

Perfect day in Arlington, TX

70 degrees, beautiful skies and baseball. We took our daughters to their first MLB baseball game today. The Texas Rangers have been my team since I was a kid, excited to pass on this tradition! Kingfisher, Oklahoma- May 2012

Intercepted this supercell at sunset. The teal color is the hail core, it produced baseball size hail, so we did not stick around for long. What a sight! #clouds365 Â #stormchasing Â #storm Â #hailstorm Â
