Walked outside last night to look at the sky before bed and noticed the crescent moon above a lone cloud. Looked like it was laying on it. I did not have time for a tripod, so I shot handheld – Canon 5D MII, 200mm, f/2.8 5000ISO. Cant believe it came out! Processed RAW in Lightroom 4, used NIK DFine to reduce the noise. That's the kind of shot I have the most trouble with. Next to impossible for me. But then, I keep wanting to see the craters in the sliver and some detail in the dark area in my shots. <G> Well done, Kelly!
